How do I set commissions?
If your team gets paid commissions, you can set their percentages at both the customer and individual shipment level.
Customer Level:
If you know how to set customer reps, you're already most of the way there. You'll notice that within reps, each has a commission assignation. These can be set as percentages or flat dollar amounts. These amounts will function as the defaults for all of the customer's shipments.
Shipment Level
In situations where the rep is earning an additional or lesser commission on a particular shipment, or if an outside party assisted and is earning a commission, you can adjust these details on a shipment-by-shipment basis. The Reps section in the top right of the shipment is where you'll do this.
From here, you can add or delete commission earners as necessary, as well as see the amount earned on the particular shipment. You'll also be able to view gross profit after commissions are deducted.
How do I see commission amounts for a designated period?
Now that you've set your commissions appropriately, you're going to want to know the damage (or, if you want to put a positive spin on it, you'll provide visibility to your team so they know how much they've earned) for whatever period you pay them out on. Lucky for you, we've got a pre-saved report for that in your Reporting tab.
This report can be run for each user or team, or for your company as a whole, for the period and shipment status you've designated.
