Trucker Tools

If you use Trucker Tools to track truckload shipments, we have an integration for you. Contact us at support@quotefactory.com for a walkthrough and to get set up.

• Tracking events from Trucker Tools — including potential fraud alerts — show up as trucking updates between locations on the shipment details page.
• The map on the shipment details page shows a green dot for the current location of the truck.
• For dispatcher email, we send both the person who covered the load and your brokerage's rate con reply-to address. Trucker Tools will send fraud alerts to those emails. (You can also set up other cc addresses on the Trucker Tools website.)

Pushing data to a customer's tracking service

Trucker Tools is able to push tracking updates to other tracking services including FourKites, MacroPoint and Project44.

FourKites

If you need to Trucker Tools to push tracking updates to FourKites for a customer, email Support, and we will walk you though the process.

• First, you'll log into your FourKites "carrier" account and generate an API key
• Then you'll send the API key, the Shipper ID and customer name to Trucker Tools Support
  • The Shipper ID is the Quote Factory customer ID, which you can get by going to the customer details page and copying the string at the end of the URL
  • For example, if the URL is https://app.quotefactory.com/broker/customer/609ac88b14d7710004e8867e, then you will send them 609ac88b14d7710004e8867e as the Shipper ID

MacroPoint

If you need Trucker Tools to push tracking updates to MacroPoint for a customer, it's easy to set up.

• Ask your customer for their MacroPoint ID (MPID)
• Add it as an External Reference in Quote Factory
  • Go to the customer details page
  • Click External references in the sidebar
  • Choose Trucker Tools
  • Enter the MPID and click Done
